Artist's Description

Remembering the hot summer days in Texas and cold ice cream out of the crank freezer. We usually made ice cream on Sunday afternoons, after church. It was a great gathering of family and neighbors under the shade trees. My grandfather and uncle would man the freezer but sometimes they let the grandkids crank a few times in the beginning. One of our favorites was strawberry ice cream.
